Thirst worked with artist Jonathan Nesci to foster and promote 100 Variations: New Reflections on Eliel Saarinen and the Golden Ratio. This site-specific installation consists of 100 unique aluminum-polished tables by the celebrated American designer, installed in the courtyard of First Christian Church by architect Eliel Saarinen. Each table profile follows a parametric grid based on the golden ratio.
Using a strong, minimalist typographic identity as a point of departure, Thirst developed a suite of graphics for distribution—including one hundred unique certificates of authenticity, each displaying the profile of Nesci's mirror-polished creations.
