Thirst designed a cover and two spot illustrations for an article on “big data” for Northwestern University’s Kellogg Magazine. The article, by reporter and writer Glenn Jeffers, focuses on how small businesses can harness the power of large data sets and analysis. Put together, all three illustrations form a narrative, as our “hero” is surrounded and overwhelmed (cover), lassoes relevant data sets (feature spread), and elevates his business to another level!
