Eight O Five Branding

Eight O Five is a new rental concept by Smithfield Properties. Compact city living, at the heart of the Near North neighborhood, just steps from vibrant happenings and transit.

The identity system was crafted to emphasize one of Eight O Five’s most desirable assets: location, location, location! A combination of bold typography and playful language invite Chicagoans into a new home, right at the intersection of everything and everywhere.

Eight O Five broke Greystar's leasing records with 50% of the building leased before available model units.

The construction barricade was designed to be refreshed halfway through construction.

The storefront is activated with the Eight O Five ring pattern.

Upon entering the temporary leasing center you're invited to "come home."
