Roberta Feldman curated an exhibition that tells the personal stories of Chicagoans who have struggled to save their homes due to eviction or foreclosure. Produced by ART WORKS Projects and presented with the National Public Housing Museum, 'House of Cards: Rebuilding' expresses these stories through photographs by Jon Lowenstein and short films by Maren Wickwire.
'House of Cards' features a series of doors, each one representing a narrative of challenge and hardship from a member of our community facing housing issues. Anna Mort and Alan Davis of Thirst led a talented team of Moving Designers to hand paint the stories on these doors.
