A Keepsake

Poetry Foundation is an independent literary organization headquartered in Chicago and committed to a vigorous presence for poetry in our culture.

Thirst designed a 148 x 210mm publishing template for works by the Poetry Foundation's annual prize winners. A selection of art by the late Mark Strand, U.S. Poet Laureate, Pulitzer Prize winner and friend of the foundation punctuates the pages of this first volume.

Our typography sets on an asymmetrical grid in Gill Sans, the foundation's identity type family. The cover is letter pressed by Rohner Letterpress and the body offset printed by Graphic Arts Studio.
