Vladimir Kagan was one of America’s most celebrated designers. His designs are iconic and immediately recognizable. Prior to passing away, Kagan left his complete design archive to Holly Hunt.

Holly Hunt commissioned Thirst to restore the Vladimir Kagan identity. Our process began in Kagan's archives in Clifton, New Jersey. We identified and carefully reviewed every example of a logo found in the archives. Working in close collaboration with the team in the Kagan studio, Thirst preserved Kagan's legacy and added new design logic to his favorite wordmark and icon.
